I’ve updated the table at the end of the Introduction to correct the term of protection offered to design patents to 15 years (which applies to design patents filed on or after May 13, 2015). Thanks to Ramón G. Vela Cordova for catching this error.

This correction is now included in the posted .doc and .pdf versions of the Introduction for Version 4.0 and in the full book .pdf.
